چکیده
This paper proposes a general framework for the energy efficiency analysis of hybrid visible light communication (VLC) and Radio Frequency (RF) wireless system, in which both VLC RF subsystems utilize non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) technology. The proposed is based on realistic scenarios as it takes into account mobility users assumes imperfect channel-state information (CSI). In this context, tractable closed-form expressions are derived corresponding average sum-rate NOMA-VLC orthogonal frequency division (OFDMA)-VLC. It shown extensively that incurred CSI errors have considerable impact OFDMA-VLC systems. Hence, they should be taken detailed design practical We further demonstrate NOMA-VLC-RF system outperforms under CSI. Respective computer simulations corroborate analytic results, interesting theoretical insights provided, will useful effective deployment conventional VLC-RF

Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access for Mobile VLC Networks with Random Receiver Orientation
Visible light communications (VLC) is an emerging technology with a promise of viable solution to spectrum crunch problem in conventional radio frequency bands. In this work, we consider a VLC system where mobile users are randomly changing their horizontal location and vertical orientation. The non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) strategy with full channel state information (CSI) feedback is...
متن کاملA Rate-Splitting Approach to Fading Multiple-Access Channels with Imperfect Channel-State Information
As shown by Médard, the capacity of fading channels with imperfect channel-state information (CSI) can be lowerbounded by assuming a Gaussian channel input and by treating the unknown portion of the channel multiplied by the channel input as independent worst-case (Gaussian) noise. Recently, we have demonstrated that this lower bound can be sharpened by a rate-splitting approach: by expressing ...
متن کاملA Fair Power Allocation for Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access in the Power Domain
This paper presents an investigation on the performance of the Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) in the power domain scheme. A Power Allocation (PA) method is proposed from NOMA throughput expression analysis. This method aims to provide fair opportunities for users to improve their performance. Thus, NOMA users can achieve rates higher than, or equal to, the rates obtained with the convent...
متن کاملNon-Orthogonal Multiple Access for Ubiquitous Wireless Sensor Networks
Ubiquitous wireless sensor networks (UWSNs) have become a critical technology for enabling smart cities and other ubiquitous monitoring applications. Their deployment, however, can be seriously hampered by the spectrum available to the sheer number of sensors for communication. To support the communication needs of UWSNs without requiring more spectrum resources, the power-domain non-orthogonal...
